Hi everyone. Newbie here just thought I would introduce myself to the group and tell you a little about myself. I love making jewelry and started selling my work on etsy. I love making anything from delicate, fashionable jewelry to large chunky western pieces that are popular in my home state of Texas. Please feel free to stop by my page and say hi and view some of my jewelry that I have on etsy. Can't wait to meet all of you.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently participating in two different giveaways for my guitar string jewelry. One is for one of my bass string bracelets on TheArmyWife.com under Tanith Giveaway. The other is for a pair of my guitar string earrings on etsytreasurechest.blogspot.com. You can go to the sites for information on entering.
Hello to everyone new and a big ole apology!
I wanted to start by saying hello to everyone who is new to our group!
We're so thrilled to have you here and hope that you are making new friends and networking! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the new creations I see posted to our group.
Secondly, I want to apologize BIG time for not really being here. Life has been hectic as I'm sure we all know. I feel like I really neglected this group that I started and for that I sincerely apologize.
I do promise to be around more and to start doing some great stuff with our group.
If anyone has any idea of things they would like to see please don't hesitate to let me know!
Also, I've been using the time I've had to start a brand new blog called Handmade Happiness. This blog is dedicated to everything handmade with a weekly theme!
If you want to check it out, any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm constantly learning and making changes to my blog is pleasing to everyone!
You can find the blog here:
www.handmadehappiness.typepad.com/ Also, if you have a Twitter account, I'd love the follow and I promise to follow back! That's pretty much it for now! Thanks so much for making this group awesome! Jennifer

Neophyte Online Seller Question
I have both an Etsy and an Artfire store. I would love to diversify to increase sales, but since each of my items are intricate, handmade, and one of a kind, building up a large inventory of unique items for two shops is a daunting task. I can't imagine how long it would take to fill 3 or more shops.
So here is my rookie question: Should I, or do you, offer the same one-of-a-kind item in more than one shop at a time?
I've sold some items, but am wondering, what are the odds of two people buying the same item at the same time?
Advice please!
Sheridan

I've done that and ended up having to make two! It was by accident! I am on Etsy, ShopHandmade, and now just recently Art Fire. Over the Christmas holidays someone bought a pendant I had listed on Etsy, and the same exact one that I had accidentally listed on ShopHandmade. Fortunately I can solder a pendant in about an hour from start to finish, so everything worked out fine. |

I would say that as long as you are able to make a duplicate should one item sell; you can list it in both places! Denise |

I have wondered this question myself. Right now I only have a shop on etsy. I have been thinking about creating another shop on another site. My items also take a long time to make. I think right now I am going to stick with just etsy. etsy seems to have the greatest amount of traffic of all the craft sites. So I would rather keep all my jewelry listed there. It doesn't make sense to list my jewelry on a site that has less traffic. MRSBaubles |

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the info! I thought I had left a blog or two on here, but don't see them. Also I couldn't find a way to leave a blog. hmmmmmm, not sure why. Anyway, just want to let the group know that I have opened a new store on winkelf - brand new, just yesterday, and with only one item so far. I hope to get back on there today and try to make the shop look a little more appealing. Any suggestions??? I would like it to have music, not sure how. I've put a few new pictures in the photos here. Check them out and enjoy! :) Donna
Donnathe new yellow necklace is made with a beautiful lampwork bead as the pendant. It was purchased from www.morningglorystones.etsy.com" .........she does beautiful work! :)
